Xátiva, con su magnífico castillo, fue la segunda ciudad más importante del Reino de Valencia y ciudad natalicia de los dos papas Borgia. Hoy aún se pueden visitar muchos de sus palacios nobles, edificios civiles renacentistas, iglesias y numerosas fuentes que datan del periodo de los Borgia.

Xàtiva, with its magnificent castle was the second city of the medieval kingdom of Valencia and birthplace of the two Spanish Borgia popes.  Today many of its palaces, churches, numerous fountains and monuments dating from the Borgia period can still be visited.
